Pressure Select Technology
The SPX4000-PRO does things differently; a dial on the unit allows you to change from low to high pressure on the fly so you know what you’re working with. The lowest setting produces 1,450 PSI for everyday cleaning jobs. For the grimiest tasks, crank it up to high mode.
Pressure Select Technology also ensures ultimate safety when used correctly. There’s virtually no risk of accidentally cutting a hole in the side of your car when you leave it on its lowest setting during storage.
5 Quick-Connect Nozzle Tips
The SPX4000-PRO sticks to tradition by coming with five different QC nozzle tips that deliver anywhere from a wide 40° spray to 0° pencil-like concentrated jets of water. One of the nozzle tips is used exclusively to shoot soap and bubbles.
The versatile QC tips help in completing any cleaning task in the least amount of time.
Easy-Glide Wheels
Other than Pressure Select Technology, what sets the SPX4000-PRO apart from most electric pressure washers is its design. You don’t need to lift it from place to place but rather wheel it around.
It looks somewhat like a lawnmower and moves just as across all sorts of terrain. No towing or carrying is necessary.
Detergent Tank
With the QC soap nozzle on the end of the spraying lance, you’ll be able to cover any surface evenly in inches of frothy suds. The SPX4000-PRO features a humungous 54.1-ounce tank to help you clean broader surface areas per tankful of detergent.
When you’re ready to call it a day or you need to swap soap, remove the tank and rinse it in water. Smaller twin tanks would have been ideal, but we’re not complaining about the SPX4000-PRO’s large single-tank setup.
Attachments
The SPX4000-PRO is compatible with a wide selection of different Sun Joe cleaning attachments. For their SPX series, you can attach a surface cleaner, scrubbing broom, gutter cleaner, or rotary brush onto the end of the wand for better-performance cleaning on certain surfaces.
These attachments, however, do not come standard with the SPX4000-PRO.
Safety Lock Switch
Electric pressure washers are fun to use but remember: high-pressure jets of water can cause some serious damage. Pulling away skin doesn’t even describe half of the destructive potential of a careless person behind a spray lance.
Sun Joe added a Safety Lock Switch as a form of insurance so water doesn’t come shooting out when the trigger is pulled. Those with children will value this feature more than anything else.
Total Stop System
The Safety Lock Switch works in tandem with the built-in Total Stop System. The purpose of this system is to automatically kill the motor when the trigger is disengaged to prevent accidental sprays while simultaneously prolonging the life of the pump.
