Single-Tub Style
Immediately, we noticed that this Giantex washer/spinner machine doesn’t have a second tub specifically for spin-drying your laundry. Instead, it comes with a single, massive tub that will both wash and dry in a single cycle. Best of all, you won’t move sopping-wet clothes from one tub to another.

8-pound Wash and Dry Capacity
One of the first things you may notice about the Giantex EP22761 is it’s a bit tiny. The compact design is excellent for those who have limited floor space in their garage, laundry room, or RV. However, it can still wash and dry a decent amount of clothing each cycle.

Drain Pump
Most of the time, portable washing machines rely solely on gravity to drain water from their wash and spin tubs, but the Giantex EP22761 isn’t like that.
An aluminum pump is built into the machine that actively pulls water from the tub and shoots it through the drain hose. This system allows you to place run the drain hose into a sink or other above-ground place instead of onto the floor.
Agitator
At the base of the 2-in-1 tub is an agitator that pushes clothes against one another to simulate hard scrubbing to remove the toughest grass and dirt stains you can imagine. The agitator spins more than 1,000 RPM while causing minimal damage to your clothing.

Stainless-Steel Inner Tub
While we’re on the subject of what’s inside of the Giantex EP22761, we might as well mention that the tub is made of heavy-duty stainless steel. As you may already know, stainless steel is resistant to corrosion so there’s little risk of there being metallic remnants embedded in the fibers of your clothing.
The one thing users need to be aware of is that this unit does not have a self-cleaning mode. It means you need to flush the tub regularly to remove detergent particles by spraying the tub with a hose to prevent calcified buildups from emerging.
Lint Trap
The Giantex EP22761 comes with a lint trap designed to capture loose strings and fabric fibers from potentially clogging the drain port or polluting your town’s sewage system. However, the lint trap is a bit ineffective at best.
Most of the lint is produced at the bottom of the tub near the agitator whereas the lint trap is higher up in the machine. Some users have resorted to placing a makeshift filter on the end of the drain hose to trap whatever the lint trap misses.
Electronic Control Panel
We can’t forget to mention that this portable washing machine is a lot different from many other models in that it comes with a digital control panel rather than dials.
The buttons indicate which wash cycles the machine will perform while the LED display shows the remaining time. It’s pretty simple stuff, but it’s a life and timesaver compared to spinning three dials.

There are many things to love about the Giantex EP22761 Portable Washing Machine. For instance, the single-tub style eliminates a lot of the manual work required by twin-tub machines, and the built-in drain pump takes the load off of cleaning up in the end.
