That is why, today, we’re going to be looking at four different robot vacuums that Eufy has manufactured. Each one of these robot vacuums is exceptionally well-designed and incredibly efficient.

First, we look at the Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 11S, then the Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 12, and after that, the Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 15C, and finally, the Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 30C.

Before we dive into the robot vacuums, though, let’s define what a robot vacuum is, and the kinds of advantages that it can give you.

What Is A Robot Vacuum?

A robot vacuum is a device that uses robotic technology – such as sensors – to automate the entire process of vacuuming. There are no other vacuums that can automate this whole process, and that’s what makes robot vacuums so unique.

Robot vacuums have many distinct benefits. One of which is the fact that you no longer have to vacuum your home manually. Instead, with the press of a few buttons – these buttons have to do with configuring specific aspects of the vacuum itself, and how it cleans your home – you can turn on the vacuum, and it will clean your home.

Along with that, robot vacuums are small and easy to store. You don’t need to have a huge closet, or a lot of space, to keep them. Since they are small, you can easily pick them up and take them to other homes, as well. So, if you move, storing the vacuum isn’t a challenge.

One of the other benefits that robot vacuums bring is the fact that you can customize them quite a bit. You can create custom schedules for the vacuum, telling it when to clean, and when it shouldn’t be cleaned. It means you can have the device vacuum your home, while you’re at work, so you come home to a nice, clean home. You can also customize how the vacuum cleans and, in some cases, the floors and individual spaces it needs to clean, and how it cleans those spaces.

Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 11S Review

Let’s start with a piece of information. Each of these robot vacuums has a technology known as “Boost IQ” and Boost IQ technology is a technology that enables these Eufy robot vacuums to detect when it has changed surfaces, and to adjust themselves automatically, to accommodate the suction needs of that new floor. Then, when it has cleaned that surface or is on a new surface, it automatically reverts to a lower setting to save power.

Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 11 vs. 12 vs. 15 vs. 30

The Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 11S is a relatively basic robot vacuum. It isn’t powerful, and it has no special features, aside from the Boost IQ technology. But, that doesn’t mean this is a bad robot vacuum or anything of this sort. Instead, it’s simple and affordable.

Using the Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 11S, you access 1300Pa of suction. For a robot vacuum, this is pretty average. The cleaning process is simple and efficient, and you can vacuum up smaller pieces of debris, lots of dust, and lots of dirt. Pet hair can be vacuumed up, but it won’t be too efficient. The same goes for carpet flooring, which is certainly doable, but not always the easiest, due to the suction power.

When cleaning, you have a couple of different cleaning modes to choose from. Two of the most popular are “Spot Cleaning Mode” and “Automatic Cleaning Mode”. With Spot Cleaning Mode, you can turn on that mode, and the vacuum will begin to do a deep clean on the spot that it is currently on. It is an easy way to tell the vacuum to clean one particular spot, more thoroughly than the others.

Automatic Cleaning Mode is just what it sounds like. The entire cleaning process is automated and using Boost IQ technology, there is a dirty surface, the suction speed will be adjusted, and the surface will be cleaned thoroughly.

During the cleaning process, there are two filters. The first is a dual-layer filter for the bigger particles. Then, after that, there is a high-performance filter that is designed to eradicate all of the smaller particles.

Everything then flows into a dust box that can hold 0.6 liters of dirt, dust, and debris, which is pretty spacious for a robot vacuum.

You can use the Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 11S for 100 minutes on a single charge.

Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 12 Review

In comparison to the Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 11S, the Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 12 isn’t really that different.

However, before we dive into the similarities that these two robot vacuums present, let’s look at the differences the Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 12 offers.

Unlike the Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 11S, instead of having access to 1300Pa of suction, you have access to 1500Pa of suction. It will make vacuuming things like carpets, pet hair, and thick clumps of dust, dirt, and debris easier and more efficient. While it isn’t a significant increase in suction power, it is still notable.

Other than that, there aren’t any other differences or distinctions between the two robot vacuums. They are, in many ways, the same product.

Boost IQ technology is still present. The sensors are the same. The size and weight are the same. You still have access to the same cleaning modes, such as “Spot Cleaning Mode” and “Automatic Cleaning Mode”. There is still the same filtration system, and the dirtbox can hold 0.6 liters of dirt, dust, and debris.

However, the price increase is minimal, and for only a little more, you can purchase the Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 12. If you want extra suction power, or have dirty floors, then the Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 12 is a great choice, especially since it is still a very inexpensive robot vacuum. The Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 11S wasn’t a bad vacuum at all, and this improve upon the overall power and efficiency of that vacuum.

Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 15C review

Let’s start with this basic fact. Unlike the Eufy 12, the Eufy RoboVac 15C only offers 1300Pa of suction power. It is a 200Pa downgrade, which is a bit strange since this particular vacuum is the next in the product line. But, with that, you aren’t paying the extra money for the power this vacuum offers. Instead, you are paying for functionality.

More specifically, you are paying for “smart functionality”. Smart functionality, when it comes to the Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 15C, consists of two things. One is being able to use your smartphone to control and access the features that this robot vacuum provides. Two, being able to use a Smart Home device – Amazon Echo, in this case – to control the vacuum and to access these features.

Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 15 vs. 12 vs. 11 vs. 30

Instead of being forced to use and rely on a small remote control, you can now turn on your smartphone and open up an app. Using this app, you can create custom schedules for the Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 15C, telling it when to clean and how long it needs to clean. You can turn on the vacuum. You can change the cleaning mode that it is currently using. You can tell the vacuum cleaner to go back and recharge. And, if the vacuum gets lost, you can use the “Find My Robot” feature to find it will tell the device to emit a sound, allowing you to hear where the sound is coming from and find it.

Each one of those features can be accessed using Amazon Echo, as well. It’s this kind of functionality that is one of the defining characteristics of the Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 15C, and what makes it such a convenient, powerful, and efficient robot vacuum.

As for the other features that the Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 15C offers, they are all pretty much the same features that the other Eufy RoboVac models offer.

Naturally, you have the Boost IQ technology, which makes cleaning a much more hands-off experience. The same goes for the sensors, which are very easy and efficient. Then, you have four different cleaning modes, two of which are, obviously, “Automatic Cleaning Mode” and “Spot Cleaning Mode”. After that, you have the same basic filtration system, which is good at getting rid of smaller particles, such as allergens. All of these particles go into the 0.6-liter dirt box. Finally, the battery life is one-hundred minutes.

Ultimately, the Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 15C is an affordable, convenient, easy-to-use, and efficient robot vacuum. There isn’t a huge price difference between the previous two robot vacuums, so if you want a robot vacuum with this extra convenience and functionality, it is a great choice.

Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 30C Review

Finally, we come to the Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 30C. This is the most powerful and advanced robot vacuum on our list, and it comes with a handful of really special features that will make your vacuuming experience an absolute breeze.

In terms of cleaning power, the Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 30C offers 1500Pa of suction. It is a decent amount of suction and will make vacuuming up just about anything an easy and efficient process, regardless of whether you’re vacuuming up dust, dirt, or just random pieces of debris. The speed and efficiency in which this vacuum operates aren’t just due to the sheer suction power, though, it’s also due to the cleaning system that Eufy has integrated into the Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 30C.

Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 30 vs. 11 vs. 12 vs. 15

This robot vacuum uses what is known as a “Three-Point Cleaning System.” This cleaning system consists of three individual brushes. There are two spinning brushes, and on the front, there is a much larger brush. Each of these brushes helps to loosen up dirt, dust, and debris, and then it pushes it forward, allowing the vacuum to suck it up with complete ease.

So, in terms of suction speed and efficiency, this is the most powerful of the Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac models we’ve looked at.

You also have all of the features that you would find in the other Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac models. The smartphone functionality is very much present, controlling and activating certain features and functions a simple and easy process. You can, of course, also use Amazon Echo, and by speaking aloud simple voice commands, you can tell the vacuum what to do, and it will do just what you say.

The dirtbox is still 0.6 liters, and you have 100 minutes of battery life. Once again, as mentioned in the title, Boost IQ technology is present, but the sensors have improved a little bit, too.

With the Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 30C, there are nine individual anti-collision sensors. It significantly lowers the chances of this vacuum accidentally colliding with any random objects and becoming damaged.

However, the most significant feature is the addition of these things known as “Boundary Strips”. This robot vacuum comes with several of these Boundary Strips, and they serve an important purpose.

Most robot vacuums don’t make it easy to control where, specifically, your vacuum cleans. Instead, the robot vacuum makes its own decisions and chooses what to clean, based on the sensors and the algorithms that run those sensors. You might have a specific space that you want the vacuum to clean extra thoroughly, but they’re usually isn’t an easy way to tell the vacuum, unless you press the “Spot Clean” button frequently.

Boundary Strips are a way of solving that problem. To use a Boundary Strip, you find an area that you want the vacuum to stay in – whether the intention is for the vacuum to clean that space extra well or to not go past a certain point is up to you – and then you lay these strips down. They emit a signal that tells the device not to go past them.

Using Boundary Strips, it’s much easier to have one particular space cleaned in an extra thorough manner, and it also prevents the robot vacuum from going into spaces and places you don’t want it to be in.

If you want a simple vacuum that is a bit more powerful, the Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 12 is a fantastic choice.

For something that isn’t as powerful, but more convenient and easy to use, the Eufy Boost IQ RoboVac 15C is a good choice.
