If you have pets, children, or are just a clumsy person in general, then a simple vacuum cleaner won’t be enough to keep your floors as clean as you’d like. No, for that job, you may need to invest in a carpet or steam cleaner, but why invest in multiple tools when you could get the Crosswave Pet Pro All in One vac from Bissell? This fantastic cleaning machine can be used on both wet and dry stains, leaving your hardwood floors sparkling as the day you first got them installed. So join us as we look at the fantastic All in One vacuum and what it has in store.
Perfect for Long Hair
If you find your floor littered with long strands of hair – both pet and human – then the Crosswave Pet Pro will can be your best friend. This handy vacuum cleaner is equipped with a hair strainer that makes removing nasty strands of fallen hair easy a lot easier than ever before. the brushroll is also specially made to fight against tangling so the Crosswave will produce optimal suction power for longer.
Vacuum and Wash Simultaneously
As a wet and dry vac, it only makes sense that this vacuum cleaner doesn’t just pick up pieces of kibble and fallen crumbs. As a wet vac, the Crosswave is great at removing sticky stains and accident puddles pets or non-potty-trained children may leave in their wake. The best thing is that on smooth surfaces like hardwood, laminate, and tiled floors, you can both vacuum and mop at the same time. Talk about killing two birds with one stone!
Multi-Surface and Specialized Pet-Cleaning Brushrolls
The Crosswave comes with two different brushrolls – a multi-surface roll for carpeted and smooth floors, and a pet-cleaning brushroll for… cleaning up after your pets. They are both identical in appearance so make sure you know which is which. To attach the brushes, simply open the latch on the vacuum head and pop one of the brushrolls in.
Make sure it snaps in place before turning the Crosswave on beforehand (we learned this the hard and messy way).
Control at Your Fingertips
Switching from rug and hard floor modes is a cinch. Both of the buttons that activate each mode are conveniently located on the handle. All you need to do to switch between modes is press the button with your thumb and you’re good to go. Note to our readers: make sure that you choose the appropriate mode; the last thing you want is to make your carpets and rugs wet with a hard floor cleaning solution.
Large Clean and Dirty water Tanks
Like floor-cleaning appliance that uses water, the Crosswave comes with two tanks for both clean and dirty. The clean tank is located near the handle and snaps off in order to refill. The dirty tank is situated near the vacuum head and is easy to remove and empty out.
Bissell also includes a free trial-size bottle of PET Multi-Surface Formula, but you’re free to pour your favorite cleaning solution into the clean water tank.
Lightweight
Fully assembled and ready to roll, the Crosswave’s dry weight (with empty water tanks) is less than 12 pounds. This is great news for those of you who don’t have the energy to lug around heavy floor cleaners. Carrying the Crosswave up and down stairs is also a breeze thanks to its lightweight build and compact design.
25-foot Power Cord
As a corded model, your range of movement is limited by how long the appliance’s power cord is. Thankfully, movement isn’t an issue thanks to the long 25-foot power cord. Feel free to increase your range by plugging this baby into an extension cord.
Easy-Clean Storage Tray
The plastic dock that comes with the Crosswave doubles as a cleaning tray which is used to keep the brushrolls as free of debris and tangled hair as possible. It simplifies the task of cleaning and rinsing the brushes after each cycle, though it’s not 100% foolproof.
Some customers have found the tray to be more trouble than it’s worth which. Personally, we haven’t had any problems with the tray, nor has it ever led to dirty streaks on smooth floors.
