Triple-Action Brushroll
Do you know what’s better than one and two? That’s right – triple-action on the vacuum brush roll. With a triple-helix brush roll, 2252 works better at loosening, lifting, and removing embedded dirt particles and strands of pet hair from medium- and high-pile carpeting.
The brush roll bristles rotate gently on all surfaces, leaving tiled and hardwood floors in perfect shape without leaving ugly scratches and gashes.
Scatter-Free Cleaning
The BISSEL Cleanview Swivel Pet comes with two side unpowered side brushes that prevent dirt from scattering all over the place. They ensure that every piece of dust in the vacuum’s path stays in place for the suction inlet and triple-action brushes to pick up and remove permanently.
Edge-to-Edge Vacuuming
The side brushes also work well at bringing dirt from the sides into the suction inlet. This allows you to move 2252 along edges and in corners, so no speck of dirt is left un-suctioned.
Swivel Neck
Like most uprights, 2252 uses a swivel neck that lets you roll the vacuum cleaner in between and below furniture, so no part of your floors is left un-vacuumed.
Though a handy feature, we find that the bulky design of 2252 makes it quite cumbersome to navigate in tight spaces, so we rely heavily on the suction hose and vacuum attachments to clean hard-to-reach areas (more on this later on).
Multi-Cyclonic Filtration
One of the biggest annoyances of using a vacuum cleaner is losing suction power over time. Typically occurs due to the clogged filter by larger particles.
2252 solves this problem by using a multi-cyclonic suction system that separates large and small, keeping the fine-mesh filter as free of debris as possible for longer-lasting high-quality suction performance.
Washable Filter
The multi-cyclonic filter system is removable from the 2252 and washable under a faucet. When the vacuum cleaner eventually loses suction power, detach the filter from the system and wash. Allow it to dry completely before reinstalling it into 2252.
Each filter is built to last for up to 6 months, but it depends on how frequently you use the vacuum cleaner and what sort of debris ends up clogging the mesh.

The large dustbin lets you work longer during each cleaning session before needing to empty the bin. A truly convenient feature to have, especially if your home’s floors are several hundreds of square feet wide.
Long 27-foot Power Cord
To add to the already-convenient 2252, this handy-dandy vacuum cleaner uses a super-long 27-foot power cord to draw power from the nearest wall outlet, giving you roughly 2,300 square feet of movement before needing to switch to another outlet.
Better yet, why not use an extension cord that offers maximum maneuverability without needing to switch outlets for an entire floor? It’d be nice if the Bissell 2252 came with an automatic cord rewind.

Verdict
If you’ve been with us for a while, you should already know that we are diehard fans of most of BISSELL’s products, and 2252 is no exception. The heavy-duty suction power paired with the triple-action brush and multi-cyclonic filtration system makes this one of the best vacuum cleaners we’ve used in a long time, especially for picking up after balding pets.
We would have loved to see an automatic cord rewind that reels the 27-foot long power cord for storage, but hey – as is, we’re more than satisfied with the BISSEL Cleanview Swivel Pet Upright Vacuum.
